This week's Holochronicles #ShowMeYourCollection features a Star Tours tribute

Updated: Oct 21, 2020

Collections come in all sizes and preferences. Some collect a brand, others collect a character. Dave Arch collects Star Tours merchandise!

(Star Tours was a motion simulator attraction at several Disney theme parks, based on the Star Wars film series. At its debut at Disneyland in 1987, it was the first attraction based originally on a non-Disney licensed intellectual property.)

Twenty years ago Dave went on a Star Tours ride, and boy did it make an impact! He's been collecting everything Star Tours-related since. We honestly had no idea how vast the collectibles were for this ride, but it's a world-wide sensation so is it really that surprising?

"I especially like the stuff released in Disneyland Tokyo. They get some great stuff." - Dave

This collection is unlike one we have seen or featured before. He has everything from figures to advertisement to luggage - even a barf bag!

"Like any collector, there are still items I haven’t tracked down and obtained...... Yet! But I’m always on the look out for stuff I don’t have. There’s a new figurine recently released in Disneyland Paris of Star Tours Lovable Pilot RX-24 which I need to get my hands on." We absolutely love the uniqueness of this collection and are so thankful for Dave sharing this with us!
