The Art of The Mandalorian book now available!

Maybe one of the best books you can buy for your favorite Star Wars story is the "Art of" books by Phil Szostak. Phil Szostak is the author and Doug Chiang provides an incredible forward in this book. Phil is a master at crafting these books with behind the scenes images and conceptual drawings complimented with facts supplied from those who made that specific Star Wars story. The Art of The Mandalorian book is now available for purchase on Amazon.

"Filled with concept art, sketches, and interviews with key cast, crew, and creatives, including executive producer/showrunner/writer Jon Favreau and executive producer/director Dave Filoni, The Art of Star Wars: The Mandalorian will provide readers with an exclusive look at a whole new universe of Star Wars characters, locations, and vehicles," Szostak said in his book description.

There are a lot of interesting details revealed. One that we thought was fascinating was the design concepts of The Baby's....Grogu's carrier. In the series, Grogu follows The Mandalorian on missions in his levitating carrier. Concept art shows one idea was to have it carried on The Mandalorian's back. The concept art of Grogu bundled up is also interesting just from the standpoint of this child is The Mandalorian's treasure he is trying to hide from the galaxy.

A two page combo most fans can enjoy is sizing up the Mandalorian. Readers can learn how the character was designed including the evolution of his helmet and the inclusion of that incinerator rifle that we have seen in action just a few times in the series so far.
