Star Wars: The High Republic Livestream with authors announced for early January
A new era of Star Wars story telling that Will span streaming, books, and comics kicks off in January 2021. Fans are now learning on Monday, the authors who crafted these stories over the past several years will participate in a livestream to interact with fans on January 4th. That’s the day before the first stories in this expansive event is released to the public
According to StarWars.com, “all five authors behind the launch stories ofThe High Republic—Claudia Gray (Into the Dark), Justina Ireland (A Test of Courage), Daniel José Older (IDW Publishing’sThe High Republic Adventures), Cavan Scott (Marvel’sThe High Republic), andCharlesSoule (Light of the Jedi) — as well as Lucasfilm Publishing’s Michael Siglain and StarWars.com’s Kristin Baver. Fans can look forward to fresh insights into the characters and events ofThe High Republic, along with new announcements and reveals of what’s to come.”
The High Republic takes place about 200 years before the Skywalker Saga. Tbis period of time ahs been advertised as the prime of the Jedi Order.
Star Wars fans recently learned that Star Wars: The Acolyte is connected to this event during Disney’s Investor Call on December 10th. Star Wars: The Acolyte is a television series currently in development with Leslye Headland for Disney+. No release date is known at this time.
