POSSIBLE SPOILERS: Titles for The Mandalorian Season Two leak, suggests Clone Wars cameo
The Mandalorian Season 2 is scheduled to drop this October on Disney+ and we might now have the list of episode titles. Please keep in mind, this is a leak and possible spoiler. If you do not want to know the possible titles, you have been warned.
According to reddit user, HalfBloodMockingjay, the eight episode titles for Season 2 have leaked and those are included in user's original post we have included directly below.
*In case the original post is difficult to read, lets type these possible titles out:
Chapter One: The Search
Chapter Two: The Confrontation
Chapter Three: The Bounty Chapter Four: The Republic
Chapter Five: The Loyalist Chapter Six: The Sorcerer
Chapter Seven: The Return
Chapter Eight: The Empire
This leak is quickly spreading on social media, especially pulling fan's eyes to the title of Chapter Six: The Sorcerer. Many believe this could be a reference to Ahsoka Tano, a beloved character created by Dave Filoni who debuted in The Clone Wars series in 2008 and most recently dueled Maul high above the Mandalore skyline in Season Seven, Episode 10 "The Phantom Apprentice."
But the closer canon-timeline moment we shared with Ahsoka was in the epilogue of Star Wars Rebels. In a moment that takes place an unspecified amount of time after the Battle of Endor, Ahsoka, donned in grey, meets Sabine Wren to search the galaxy for Ezra Bridger. The Mandalorian is set just five years after The Battle of Endor. So with a lot of assumptions and that limited information, it is POSSIBLE the live-action debut of the Togruta and former Jedi could happen here in Season 2.
Now, if Ahsoka were to appear on screen could she cross paths with Moff Gideon? A question posed after actor Giancarlo Esposito in an interview with Variety confirmed breaking several lightsabers during production.
"I’ve gone through two, three? Three and a half, I think I’ve broken already. But I go at it. Like, I go at it. I’ve broken few of them to the point where the [prop] guys, they love me,” recalled Esposito. “‘Just so you know,’ they whisper to me, ‘we only have one more."
Fans know pre-production for Season 3 of The Mandalorian is already underway thanks to an exclusive report by Variety. Some believe there is a chance this could move Season 2 up but there is no confirmation from Disney, Lucasfilm, Favreau, or Filoni on that possibility.
Now, the Star Wars fandom awaits the release of the behind-the-scenes documentary of The Mandalorian. The first of eight episodes debuts on Star Wars Day, May 4.
