Final trailer for The Mandalorian Drops

Star Wars fans rejoice as a second and most likely final trailer for Disney's first live-action Star Wars series, The Mandalorian arrived on Monday night. This is just over two weeks from when the first episode will drop on Disney's new streaming service Disney+.

This is Star Wars like fans have never experienced. Jon Favreau previously told the Hollywood Reporter months ago his plan was to reveal a "Darker, freakier side of Star Wars." It's safe to say from the additional footage in this second trailer, that Favreau and crew did so successfully. Everything is large in this trailer. Large wide shots, large ships, large characters - it cost a good chunk of change to make possible. Disney CEO Bob Iger confirmed on one of his infamous calls that The Mandalorian cost around $100 million dollars to make. You understand pretty quickly after watching this trailer where all that money went. DAMNIT CAN IT BE NOVEMBER 12TH ALREADY?!

The series will take place five years after the events of Return of the Jedi and follows a Mandalorian bounty hunter beyond the reaches of the New Republic.

Jon Favreau is the creator, head writer, showrunner, and co-executive producer, alongside Dave Filoni, Kathleen Kennedy, and Colin Wilson. The show will currently star Pedro Pascal, Gina Carano, Nick Nolte, Giancarlo Esposito, Emily Swallow, Carl Weathers, Bill Burr, Omid Abtahi, Taika Waititi, and Werner Herzog. There will be eight episodes in the first season.

The first episode of The Mandalorian releases on Disney+ on November 12th. At launch Disney+ will cose $6.99. There is an option to bundle with ESPN+ and Hulu for under $15.
