Ahsoka's Lightsaber, New Black Series figures revealed at Hasbro PulseCon 2020.

Big news for Star Wars fans, collectors, and Star Wars fans that are collectors as Hasbro opened its inaugural Hasbro PulseCon virtual event on Youtube. Star Wars is obviously a popular license in Hasbro's arsenal. Fans have new Black Series and Vintage Collection figures to look forward to. Don't forget Ahsoka's lightsaber.

Lets start with the Vintage Collection. These figures are 3 3/4 inch action figures set to hit store shelves in spring 2021. The list of new figures includes Anakin Skywalker in disguise from Attack of the Clones, Padme in one of many outfits from The Phantom Menace, a Battle Droid from Episode 1, a TIE Fighter Pilot from Return of the Jedi, an Incinerator Trooper from The Mandalorian, and Captain Rex from Star Wars, The Clone Wars.

We at The Beyond The Blast Doors Network frankly buy a lot, most, maybe all Black Series. The six-inch collection is maybe the most popular with the average price for a figure at $20. The detail incredible and this is the action-figure you dreamed or currently still dream of. The new line has Dark Side Rey from The Rise of Skywalker, The Armorer from The Mandalorian, Jar Jar Binks with military equipment from The Phantom Menace, an Incinerator Trooper from The Mandalorian, Boba Fett in Return of the Jedi, and a Phase 1 Clone Trooper from Attack of the Clones. At first reaction, yes Dark Rey looks great but Jar Jar steals the show when you take a second, third, or seventh pass at this slate.

What's the problem with these figures? They cost money! That's really the only gripe anyone can have and sometimes you don't have the money when that certain figure is out on shelves. That's why Hasbro created its Archive Collection and it's a beautiful thing. Fans get to return to the ice planet, Hoth with Han Solo and Luke Skywalker. Grand Admiral Thrawn from Star Wars Rebels and Commander Cody from Revenge of the Sith also make their return. Some of these figures are enhanced from their previous version like Han's jacket color for example.

This might be the most exciting reveal. The new Ahsoka Tano Black Series Force FX Elite lightsaber. Hasbro said the exact saber is from the Star Wars: The Clone Wars theatrical movie. The saber's features include “advanced LEDs and entertainment-inspired Lightsaber sound effects.” If you take it out of the box you can change the blade between three different colors, a progressive ignition, battle clash lights and sounds, and a wall-cutting effect.

These next figures are definitely an acquired taste. Hasbro will have a set of Star Wars The Black Series Holiday Edition figures. This set features fan favorite characters that spans the entire saga. The Range Trooper from Solo, A Clone Trooper from the Prequel era, a classic Storm Trooper, a Snow Trooper from The Empire Strikes Back, and a Sith Trooper from The Rise of Skywalker. These a great but not to complain, bummed the Scout Trooper from Return of the Jedi was left out. Each figure comes in Christmas colors and accessories to allow collectors to make a special holiday display. Rumor has it you can fit at least two in a stocking.
